Why can the dryer turn without heating?
Tumbling alone does not confirm that the heating system is working. An Air Only setting intentionally uses no heat on models with that option. Note the selected cycle and whether you noticed any warmth. If the setting does not explain the problem, request diagnosis rather than guessing which part needs replacement.
Noise and interrupted cycles
Describe the sound and when it starts. Note whether the dryer stops immediately, runs for a while or finishes with damp clothes.

Our residential appliance diagnostic service costs $105. If you approve the repair, the $105 diagnostic fee is credited toward the labor portion. The same diagnostic fee is not charged twice. Parts are charged separately.
